ctrl.alt.sleep is a new lo-fi electronic chillwave project built for the hours when things slow down and screens glow a little too long. It sits in the overlap between digital routine and half-awake drifting – where synthetic textures soften and machines start to feel oddly human.
It is music for late-night drives, headphones on public transport, or the quiet stretch of time after everything else has shut down.
The debut album cmd+dream is the first proper statement of that idea. It invites the listener to reset, disengage, and let the noise collapse into something gentler. The tracks move slowly and deliberately, less concerned with hooks or spectacle and more interested in mood, texture, and memory.
It was written and produced by myself and Alex “ctrl” Chen.
The album releases 13 Feb 2026
